Can I convert the data to Medisoft Basic?
Data conversion is possible. It is not an automated process. Scripting is required and an extra fee will apply for this conversion. It is possible to convert patient lists, diagnosis codes lists, and procedure codes list. Estimated time to complete this conversion is 1-4 hours depending on data size in Medisoft Just Claims.
Is my current Medisoft Just Claims compliant with ICD-10?
No. The latest Medisoft Just Claims as of 11/30/2013 is not and will not be compliant with ICD-10 requirements. Medisoft Just Claims product has been discontinued. No further development and/or upgrades will be available in the future.
What are my options to upgrade Medisoft Just Claims to be compliant with ICD-10 requirements?

I am a small practice and do not submit that many claims?
Insurance claim requirements are in place and all providers must submit their claims to the insurance carriers in the format they require it. These requirements are not based on the size of a practice nor the number of claims a provider submits to a particular carrier.
Why was Medisoft Just Claims discontinued?
Medisoft developed Medisoft Just Claims for years. Medisoft decided to not further develop the Medisoft Just Claims software. Most likely due to limitations of the software vs. required capital investment to bring it up to date.
