How to run CHKDSK (Check Disk) on Windows 2000 Server
Make sure you are signed in to the
server as Administrator (this is the username). To
do so click on START / SHUTDOWN / LOG OFF XXXXX /
Click on OK to logoff.....sign by into the system using
Administrator - you should know the password otherwise
contact EMBS.
Click on START / RUN / Type CMD and click on OK
Black screen comes up
Type CHKDSK C: /F
Type Y and press ENTER when message comes up to
schedule process for the next time the system boots up
