Software Support Associate / Field Service Technician

We are looking for self-starter, highly motivated individuals with a computer support technical background.

About Us

We are a small but rapidly growing company that provides medical offices and small businesses with computer support services and software solutions for billing, EMR, appointments, prescribing, financial reporting, messaging, data protection, remote access, Internet access and much more.  We have developed our own EMR solution and are authorized resellers of Medisoft products.  Our business model focuses on providing computer support services to doctors and small businesses in CT, NY and NJ.  We offer our clients annual support contracts and on site computer support services on a time-and-material basis.


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for medical software (Medisoft) installation, support, and training. Prior experience in the healthcare field, preferably software and/or IT-related, is required
  • The qualified candidate must have a proven track record to troubleshoot software while supporting networking environment related issues
  • Sole accountability and the ability to independently handle all aspects of software installation, software support, and technical issues for Medical clients are required to ensure success. This includes, but is not limited to: hands-on installation, training, technical support, and vendor relations
  • The Associate will have to acquire immediate product knowledge of Medisoft software products and "ePractice EMR™"
  • Create and implement software installation and implementation plans
  • Perform data conversions
  • Troubleshoot software and technical issues in client environment
  • Field support calls
  • Sustain detailed product knowledge for existing versions and new versions of medical software
  • Willingness to travel within Connecticut, New York and New Jersey

  • Able to effectively interact with customers and associates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to follow through & ensure resolution of any task or issue
  • Detailed knowledge of PCs and all Windows operating systems
  • Ability to performing training classes
  • Reliable transportation

Compensation

           $26,000 to $50,000 plus mileage and traveling expenses
           No other benefits
